Diamond California Poppy Necklace

This statement necklace is sleek yet striking. It's handcrafted in sterling silver with a cohesive blend of color and sparkle. Centered is a ceramic teardrop shape california poppy, encased in a thick sterling silver bezel. Set within the ceramic is a 14k gold bezel set recycled diamond. Strung through the bail is a jax link chain, with great texture and weight to it. This would be a lovely addition to a jewelry enthusiast's collection.

The ceramics used in this collection come from railroad china. Back in the day, passenger trains used this dishware in their dining cars. These train cars allowed passengers a luxury dining experience while aboard their next destination. I repurposed the long forgotten dinner plates into wearable treasures.  

*Note* There is a chip in the center of the ceramic cabochon. It blends in with the white background and only noticeable in certain light. This does not affect the wearability of this necklace.
