Round Engraved Santa Fe Charm
This beauty is handcrafted entirely in sterling silver. A round red and white crosshatch ceramic cabochon was encased in a thick silver bezel. Featuring hand engraved details that produce a striking bright cut sparkle when catching the light. The chunky half round bail gives luxury to the design while providing comfortable spacing between other charms. This piece would be a lovely addition to any jewelry enthusiast's collection. String it through a chain, attach it to a connector, the options are truly endless.
The ceramics incorporated in this collection are sourced from Santa Fe railroad china, historically used in dining cars on passenger trains to offer a luxury dining experience. These pieces transform remnants of a bygone era into distinctive jewelry pieces. Giving old treasures a fun new life as charming, standout jewelry for your collection.
The china fragments were quite literally rescued by me from the rocks by the railroad tracks, some of the cabochons have a scuff mark here and there at certain light. My theory is that whenever a plate or cup would break, the railroad worker would simply toss it out the window of the moving train. These quirks don’t affect how sturdy or wearable this piece is. Simply a beauty mark that serve as a testament to its unique story and the long journey it took to get to you!
